The Midilli Hydroelectric Power Plant Hybrid Solar Project-2, planned by Rama Energy Group in line with its sustainable energy goals, will be integrated into the existing hydroelectric power plant located in the central district of Amasya. With an installed capacity of 0.9914 MW, this hybrid solar power investment offers an environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution for energy generation.
The project’s investment cost is estimated to be approximately 18 to 22 million Turkish Lira, depending on market conditions and equipment selection. This amount includes solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, switchgear, and connection infrastructure.
Considering the region’s solar potential, the average annual energy generation of this 0.9914 MW power plant is estimated to be approximately 1,550,000 to 1,650,000 kWh. This generation supply is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of around 520 households.
The project will prevent approximately 800 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. This clearly demonstrates the environmental benefits of solar energy and provides an effective alternative to fossil fuel use.
The Midilli Hybrid Solar Power Plant Project-2 will not require additional tree removal or cause environmental damage, as it will be installed in unused areas within or around the existing power plant site.
